Pro-Life Argument in a Nutshell

The abortion issue really comes down to: who gets to decide if you get to live or not? Society? Your mom? You?

Remember, our Declaration of Independence declares the right to life to be “self-evident” ie, so obvious that it doesn’t even need to be justified. The only exceptions historically given have been for grand treason and murderers, both of whom were deemed incredibly harmful to society.

Now look inside your heart and ask yourself this question: Does that little, innocent baby inside that troubled mother deserve basic human rights? Is she such a threat to our society that she deserve to be treated like a terrorist or murderer?

I can tell you that the babies who have survived botched abortion procedures certainly do not feel that they should have be terminated. For example, this woman:

Abortion has ended 52,008,665 "inconvenient" lives since 1973, and counting...

WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — A 16-month investigation into a botched late-term abortion conducted by two out-of-state doctors that led authorities to find 35 late-term fetuses in a Maryland clinic’s freezer has resulted in the arrest and multiple charges of murder for the two.

Dr. Steven Brigham, of Voorhees, N.J., was taken into custody Wednesday night and is being held in the Camden County jail, according to police in Elkton, Md. Authorities also arrested Dr. Nicola Riley in Salt Lake City and she is in jail in Utah. Each is awaiting an extradition hearing.

The two doctors were indicted by a grand jury for murder under the state’s viable fetus law, authorities said.

Fighting Unnecessary Abortion With Knowledge

For decades anti-abortion advocates have been fighting to keep graphic information about abortions and the babies they kill from the eyes of the people who need to see it the most.  Consequently, the vast majority of people who support abortion claim that “they just surgically remove a bit of unwanted tissue from a mother’s body.” Indeed, Roe v. Wade apparently only made it through the Supreme Court on the expert testimony that aborted babies in no way feel any pain during the procedure, a claim that has been repeatedly disproved over the years.

The abortionist’s era of “blissful ignorance” may soon be coming to an end, however, as the same technology that allows us to glimpse distant galaxies have allowed us to witness the miracle of creation that begins at conception and accomplishes most of its work during the first 6 weeks of gestation, the time when most abortions are performed.  Far from being a mere “mass of tissue,” embryos exhibit a level of complexity and innate intelligence that still baffles the human mind.

The video, which graphically shows the process of human progression, begins by showing an egg being fertilized and ends by illustrating a baby’s actual birth. Throughout the clip, viewers see the full fetal development, with explanations about what, exactly, is happening at each phase. But the imagery is spellbinding.

Pro-life advocates are giving the video rave reviews. While the nation continues to be divided on the abortion issue, some believe that the growth and expansion of technology is beginning to impact how individuals view the issue. The ability to see graphic details about the development of a fetus, they believe, makes it more difficult to accept abortion without sincere questions about life’s beginnings.

In addressing what he’s encountered in his research, Tsiaras says:

“The magic of the mechanisms inside each genetic structure saying exactly where that nerve cell should go– the complexity of these, the mathematical models of how these things are indeed done are beyond human comprehension. Even though I’m a mathematician, I look at this with a marvel of how did these instruction sets not make mistakes as they build what is us. It’s a mystery, its magic, its divinity.”

Black Group Strikes Back Against Planned Parenthood

Abortion is the #1 killer of African-Americans. More precious lives are killed by this unjust act than all other causes of death–combined! Yet, certain black leaders (especially those who used to denounce abortion, such as Jesse Jackson, Julian Bond, and the Congressional Black Caucus) continue to embrace death as a solution to unplanned Life. We are calling leaders out for allowing political and personal gain to monumentally shift their consciences. In April 1883 Frederick Douglass, while honoring the Emancipation of slaves in DC, asked presciently “How stands the Negro today?” Tragically, we’d have to answer that because of the betrayal of many of our leaders: “Killing our Future.”

Former Planned Parenthood Director Exposes Taxpayer-Funded Program’s “Abuses”

You would think that any liberal organization that has a pimp and a prostitute show up to their office these days would at least suspect that something is up.  But alas, no.  Taxpayer-funded Abortion clinic Planned Parenthood is reeling over several hidden-camera videos that show their workers assisting a man posing as a pimp and asking for advice on getting abortions for under-age sex-slaves.  Several of these scandals now are uncovering a very troubling pattern of Planned Parenthood turning a blind eye to, and even aiding under-age sex traffickers in America.

Planned Parenthood has more cause for headaches as former clinic director Abby Johnson has defected over to pro-life group Live Action and made clear her intention to expose all of the “abuses” that she observed as “all in a day’s work” at the abortion clinic.

After leaving her job in 2009, Johnson told FoxNews.com at the time that she decided to quit after she saw a fetus “crumple” as it was vacuumed out of a patient’s uterus. She also claimed she became disillusioned after her bosses pressured her to increase profits by performing more abortions. […]

In her new capacity, Johnson immediately got on board with Live Action’s sting operation targeting Planned Parenthood. Live Action has, since the beginning of the month, released more than a half-dozen videos in which undercover actors posing as a pimp and prostitute solicited advice from Planned Parenthood employees on how to obtain services for underage sex workers.

Johnson said in a statement that the incidents in the Live Action videos are “not a rare occurrence.”

“I can tell you from experience that Planned Parenthood often turns a blind eye to sexual abuse and trafficking,” she said. “But ignorance is no defense, especially when it has turned their clinics into a safe haven for those who sexually exploit women and girls.”

The Failure of Feminism

Thanks to Thinking the Wright Way for bringing this article to my attention.  The women’s liberation movement began in order to give women the ability to independently participate in society and be fully appreciated for their feminine characteristics.  Somewhere, this movement was hijacked by those who would have women believe that their own feminine characteristics were the problem and that freedom of the sex would be accomplished by them becoming more like men.  Women were told that they needed to stop being mothers and instead work and be more sexually promiscuous like the men.  Men, in turn, were told that their masculinity was oppressive, chivalry was inappropriate and fatherhood unnecessary.

How did we ever get to the point where we teach women that noncommittal  sexuality is liberating and should be encouraged, but having a child is shackling and should be aborted?  I know this is not what those pioneers of feminism had in mind back then.  It is the very opposite of what they considered women’s liberation!

“When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit.”
Elizabeth Cady Stanton (1815-1902) Organizer of the first women’s rights convention in the United States; leader in the anti-slavery and women’s suffrage movements

“Abortion is the ultimate exploitation of women.”
Alice Paul, author of the original Equal Rights Amendment (1923) who opposed the later trend of linking the E.R.A. with abortion rights

“Disorderly Protesters” Definition Depends on Whose Side You’re On

Joseph Holland was arrested for praying outside a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic on July 3rd.

Joseph Holland was arrested for quietly praying on his rosary on a public sidewalk outside a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic on July 3rd. Police claim that he was unlawfully invading other people's privacy.

A graduate students is fighting charges for disorderly conduct.  His crime?  Standing and praying on the rosary outside an abortion clinic.

Joseph Holland, a 25-year-old graduate student at Northwestern University, says he was standing still praying the rosary outside a Planned Parenthood facility in downtown Chicago July 3 when police arrested him for violating the city’s new “Bubble Zone” ordinance.[…]

“I was just standing by the building praying the rosary and one of the Planned Parenthood volunteers came up to me and started yelling at me that I needed to move 8 feet away, but the thing is I didn’t actually approach anyone; I was just standing by the building and the building doesn’t actually have a bubble,” Holland told FoxNews.com.

Holland said he never responded to that volunteer or said a word to any Planned Parenthood staffers or anyone entering the building, but he still got arrested. Continue reading
